Dark Rum

Legend has it that, in 1859, James Rowney, a pirate lost in the middle of the Caribbean, dreamed up a recipe to create rum. Upon sampling the sugar cane-based liqueur, he declared it a “noble liqueur fit for the Gods!” Later his descendant, John D Taylor, started to sell the rum.

On the nose, notes of caramel with a moderate alcohol heat. On the palate flavours of vanila, cinnamon with a hint of spice on the
finish. Either neat or to be mixed with cocktail such as a wonderful mojito
